Projects and activities:

1) Working as a contractor OSP designer and field engineer for AT&T Bay Area, California.

 

A- Fiber projects:  FTTN (fiber to the node), FTTP (fiber to the premises) – Conducting field visits to find the      best path to run the fiber and gathering all the information including distances, manhole addresses and pole numbers, checking the cable strands and any need for tree trimming. Using updated information in Microstation/J (ARES) to design aerial, buried and underground fiber optic cable placement. Prepare work prints in a Microstation based CAD program. Assigning task for each step of the construction, used for time and cost estimation of the job.

 

B- Coper Cable Projects: Performing F2 Conditioning using Microstation/J - ARES software to monitor and modify design area, engineering design for aerial, buried and underground cables, cable path, conduit, splicing, ready access terminals, encapsulated terminals and fixed terminals on the field. Using the cable information to determine all bridge taps in the distribution area. Using all other AT&T related systems like FEI, Telco, MIC, CFAS, etc. to find out all eligible living units and to evaluate the cost. Preparing conditioned area work prints for construction. These projects involve large scale data analysis and data processing.

Also wrote Microsoft Excel Macros using Visual Basic to mechanize the data processing part of the projects.

2) AT&T Prem-Tech training: Voice over IP(VOIP), Inside Wiring, Safety, Defensive Driving

3) More than three years of experience working as a manager in Crown Valley Market. Responsibilities included customer service, prepare daily, monthly and yearly sales report using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Adobe PDF files, personnel management, cash count, Handle the inventory control and receive the goods.
 

4) Developed monitoring systems for a chemical factory to down load process set points from selected recipe, monitor and log process parameters, and display alarm conditions.

5) Developed a gateway to control water pumps and control valves which can be used from a remote Web based site, using C language and Java and data transfer between them.
